About: I entered the Sword of Truth world for the first time in the summer of 2007. I was a "late" fan by most people's standards, but a fan nonetheless. Devouring all eleven books kept me busy for all of about five minutes!! (Fact: I STILL haven't read Debt of Bones.) And after I turned the last page of Confessor, I was stuck; what on Earth was I going to do now?
Go searching online for other fans - that's what. That's when I discovered a TV show was going to be made based on the books. An almost desperate (ok, mildly frantic) search for information about the TV series was few and far between. Sometime in 2008 it was announced that the TV show was going to be re-named from the Sword of Truth, to Legend of the Seeker. Out of curiosity, I did a little domain name searching and couldn't believe my luck when legendoftheseeker.org and legendoftheseeker.co.uk was still available! I snapped them up and decided then and there to give a little back to the fan world and start up a site dedicated to the show and books.
Almost a year later and the site is going from strength to strength! We have, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best fan community for the Legend of the Seeker / Sword of Truth world. And it's only going to get better!

Job: Long haul semi (articulated) driver ( Lorry for the poms and Tractor trailer for the Yanks)
About Me: As you might of guessed, I'm a bit of a joker at heart. I am a qualified carpenter/builder by trade but have been driving trucks (see definitions above) for about 18 years. Needless to say I spend a lot of time sitting on my butt (I do about 5,000 Kilometers a week) so I find audio books very helpful to pass the time.
I started reading the Sword of Truth series about a year after Wizard's First Rule came out so I had long waits between books and therefore re-read each book when the next in the series came out (so that's 11 for WFR). I have now got the first 6 books on audio book as well (the rest will come) so you might say that I am a fan.
I have also seen about 17 episodes of Legend of the Seeker (waiting on a friend to get me the rest).
I am an avid reader (when I get the time). I started out on fantasy, but have found of late that I am venturing into different genre's now.
My favorite authors of fantasy are TG (of course), David Eddings, Robin Hobb and Jean M. Auel.
Other favorites, Mathew Reilly, James Patterson, Robert Ludlum, Peter Corris and Allifar Burke.
I also love my family, movies, sport (Aussie rules football and motor sports are my big two) and a couple of T.V. shows
Site History: I signed on to this site when it had been up and running for about three days. I was the first member! That was really unusual for me as I am generally the last to find these sorts of things. So for a while it was just Teesee and I chatting. I started a lot of the first threads, mainly to get some content up so visitor would be inspired to join. Looks like it worked.
Now a days, I read every post but only comment occasionally.

Job: Computer programmer for a utility company. I mostly develop web-based applications, but also delve into some DBA work and systems architecture.
About me: Well despite my occupation, I don't consider myself a nerd. True, I am into technical stuff, but that's not my life. I also enjoy music and art very much, and actually write and play music when I find the time. I have been in a few bands and have even played a few live shows. I enjoy mountain biking very much; I live near Palo Duro Canyon which is known for having some of the best trails in Texas. I'm not much for TV, but I do watch Legend of the Seeker pretty religiously.
I am a very late-comer to the Sword of Truth series - actually never heard of it before Legend of the Seeker came out. I picked up Wizard's First Rule somewhere around the half-way point of Season 1 and was instantly hooked. I'm just finishing up Confessor now (June '09).
Site History: I am definitely the biggest n00b of the staff on this site. I joined in March 2009, when my addiction to the show got so bad I just couldn't take it anymore and went looking for others who shared my passion. The site has grown a lot just in the short time I've been here. I feel privileged to be part of the staff that maintains the best Legend of the Seeker fansite on the web!

Job: I work at a loading facility for FEDEX Ground, its not as great as it sounds....
A Day in the Life of: Generally speaking, I don't do much. I try to be a college student by day and very angry gnome (World of Warcraft) by night. I live with the very lovely Wiff, my girlfriend, and my not so lovely brother, we share a house in Columbus, OH. I also i have a dog, her name is Puppy (we suck at coming up with names) and she recently crapped on my bed.
I got into the Sword of Truth books a few years ago, just before Phantom came out, so unlike fans from the begining, i didn't have to wait all that long to finish series. Sucks to be people like Richard.
Site History: I joined this site in October of 2008 when we had not too many members. I think it was like 20 active members at that point, my how we have grown!!!!

About Me: What should I say? The quickest way to describe myself would be as an “eclectic”. My hobbies vary between reading books, mostly fantasy or historical/philosophical, playing video games; I can’t get enough of them and once I start a game I have to finish it, playing guitar and piano, playing basketball/volleyball, hanging out with my mates and listening to good music.
The Books: I am a very late-comer to the books. I first became aware of the books after having stumbled across an episode of “Legend of the Seeker” on “Youtube” in December last year. After that I went out and found the books and am working my way through them.
Site history: I joined this site in February 2009 after having found it whilst looking for quizzes to keep me occupied while I waited for the series to start up again. Since then I have become a Moderator and feel very privileged to be part of the best Legend of the Seeker site on the net.
