Design a t-shirt competition
Because the lovely people over at ABC have allowed the creation of fan merchandise for the Legend of the Seeker television show at CafePress.com, we thought we’d take this opportunity to see what you can come up with.Your task Dear Seekers, is to come up with and produce an original design for a t-shirt that is Seeker related. There are of course, certain restrictions (but a lot of freedom too) so be sure to read the terms and conditions fully before entering.
The winning prize is a $100 CafePress Gift Certificate and a Legend of the Seeker fan pack (t-shirt, water bottle, bag...)
But that's not all. Anyone entering the competiton will also have the ability to make some cold hard cash – providing you add it to your CafePress shop to sell. Want to know more? Read on below.
1. Think of a design! This could be a phrase, a logo or both – that is related to the Legend of the Seeker television show. Certain images and/or text are not allowed. Please read through the full list of Legend of the Seeker Merchandise Rules before committing to an idea.
2. Create your design – but please adhere to the image guidelines before uploading. (Recommended DPI is 200.) Templates are available to use from CafePress to help with this.
3. To earn some COLD HARD CASH, you will need to register for a FREE CafePress shop account to upload your design to. Registration only takes a few moments and once you’ve logged in, simply put your design onto a t-shirt.
4. Once your t-shirt has been added to your CafePress shop, post the link to it on our forums in our "Design a t-shirt" competition thread. This will class as your submission into the competition.
5. You may create and submit up to three designs only.
To help get you started, we’ve created our own t-shirt on CafePress to give you an idea of how yours might look. We’ve gone for a pocket design t-shirt with a DPI of 200. Ours is relatively simple ("Take me to your Seeker") but you can make it as detailed as you like!
DESIGN A T-SHIRT COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering our competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Your design must be an original creation made by YOU, the participant.
2. The closing date for this competition is midnight on the 31.03.10 (GMT.)
3. For a submission to be deemed valid, the design(s) must be added to a t-shirt(s) and placed in your CafePress shop; a link must then be posted on our (legendoftheseeker.org) forums in our "Design a t-shirt" competition thread, showcasing your entries.
4. Your design must adhere to the Legend of the Seeker Merchandise Rules, as set out by ABC Studios to be considered valid.
5. You can submit up to a maximum of three designs only.
6. The winning design will be judged by the staff at legendoftheseeker.org.
7. This competition is open to all users and visitors of our website and forums (excluding staff members – admins, super moderators and moderators.) but you will need to be a registered member on our forums to enter. 8. The admin of http://www.legendoftheseeker.org has the final decision on naming the winner.
9. The winner will be notified by email at the address supplied on their account.
10. The prize is a $100 CafePress Gift Certificate and a Legend of the Seeker fan pack (t-shirt, water bottle, bag, etc).
11. No part of the prize may be exchanged for a cash alternative or any other prize.
