If this is true then I am really disappointed. This is one of the best shows out there at the moment and there are still many stories left to tell. Best of luck to all the actors in whatever projects they move onto next.

It can't be over! The prophecy said after the Keeper is defeated there will be a new, even stronger force that the Seeker must defeat. I don't care what they say - I WANT SEASON 3! I can't live without you guys, don't you understand?

This is/was my favorite show. It has added so much enjoyment to my life. Really hate to see it end. Really well written, and the acting is superb! Love ALL of you. Really have enjoyed every minute of it. God bless you all.

Why can't syfy pick it up? Or another cable channel? It's not fair! You have to at least end it right! You can't leave us hanging! I love the books and the show (even though they are different I love them both).

I loved this show and wish it could have continued, but I'm thankful for the two season. Thank you for the laughs and the entertainment, and for bringing Bridget (and Tab) to the attention of all of us. We will continue to support and follow them everywhere now. :]

Wow, this is sad news. Love the show. Normally I am just angry when a show I like is canceled, but loved this show so much, it's like a sucker punch to the stomach.

In Canada, only the first season is actually broadcasted. Can you tell me if, in the 2nd season, Richard and Kahlan can finally love each other without restriction...and which episode it is ?

Bridget only answered after Daynastunts and a few others had already started spreading the news. The only one that I've found who belongs to the production is WrittenByMikeS. However, EVERYONE ELSE is re-posting Ausiello's original report!!! The Studios haven't responded yet! So, it only make sense that the Studios are still on teh lookout! Let's hope that this uprise will draw the attention of the right people!

I don't know if I'm just self-deluded but for me, until a FORMAL announcement is made, I will still tweet and email for my favourite show!!!

And my 2c, there are tweets of people who only got to know the show because of the fans' protests over the cancellation and they love it!!!

It figures, every show that's worth being on tv is always cancelled, nevermine they put the show in a crumy time slot, it's almost as if they wanted it to fail, I thought sure wgn would pick it up, but lets get some more reality shows on tv, that's just what we need. USA cancelled Dead Zone years ago and I haven\'t watched anything on their network since. Fox cancelled Terminator a year ago and I haven\'t seen 1 second of their programming since. If possible I will see what companies advertise on ABC/Disney, SyFy, WGN/Tribune, etc. and boycott their products entirely.

Wow I only watched the show airing once or twice but I always managed to download the new shows off of BT Junkie. It cut out the commercials and just let me watch the 43 minutes of show. I am deeply saddened that they cancelled it. The actors did such a good job with everything they made the scripts come to life. Ah well it seems that all the good fantasy shows never last. Who knows when their will be another. I agree with the previous the last thing we need is another Reality show yippee lol

Okay fellow Seeker friends: I had a crazy idea last night, but think it might work. We should bombard Regis & Kelly with e-mails and tweets to try to get them to mention the fan based movement to save LotS on air. They are on ABC and they interviewed both Bridgit and Craig for season 1. Here is a link to their web site.

Be polite and ask them to mention the fan campaign on air. Also send paper letters as well.

Post this idea on any LotS forum you can think of - the more they see it, the more likely they will be to mention it.

Also, reading other posts - yes we need to concentrate on Disney but don't forget SyFy. Let them know that if they can come to an agreement with Disney, we will be there supporting the show and their network. Try to get them back to the table.

This show kept the blood running in my veins, and kept my heart pumping. it kept me dreaming and hoping to one day be as good a role model as Richard and Kahlan. But now, it seems someone has just squeezed my heart dry and i am officially dead inside.
This is how it feels to loose something so amazing, so fascinating, it hurts good when we have it, but now it hurts real bad.
i am so sorry i can do nothing to help it.
i feel like a petty useless mole hiding in a dark dark hole.

i am very grateful to the crew and actors, who at least gave us that thread of hope and happiness.

I have just heard that Season 3 was not picked up for Legend of the Seeker. This disappoints me greatly, almost to the point where I may start boycotting all ABC shows.

The Legend of the Seeker is by far the best show on television right now and by you cancelling this show you are telling me that none of your shows will be worth watching since they all will probably suffer the same fate, since none can compare to the Legend of the Seeker.

I urge you to look around the internet and fan sites and places like Hulu's and Netflix's comments for this show. You will see a massive outpouring of positive reviews as well as massive support to keep this show on the air.

I urge you again to reconsider your decision and continue the Legend of the Seeker for many more seasons to come.

I can't believe that a network like syfy wouldn't pick it up, aren't we tired of the same old thing for series on syfy, this is different, they need this show as much as this show needs a network, I can't believe that the people who produce this show hasn't gone to them yet, or maybe they have and were turned down, I love this show, I was looking forward to a third season, darn these networks, don't start a series unless you're going to follow through, you expect actors to fulfill their contracts and offer new ones, it didn't help when it was put on at 4 in the afternoon on wgn, there is nothing on on the weekends anymore, a nighttime slot would of helped in my opinion.

It's unfortunate its being canceled. My sister and I watch the show every Saturday, even the repeats. After hearing it was dropped, I can't say I'm surprised though, disappointed but not surprised in the least.

For those who are wondering why, it was the ratings that got it canceled and that is also probably the reason why no other tv station picked it up. It had alright ratings but I suspect part of the problem was it wasn't gaining anymore, amongst many other problems which I won't go into.

It's unfortunate it had to end just when it was getting real good but I guess I'll go read the books again. RIP LOTS

Legend of the Seeker CANNOT be cancelled! I watch it every week and can never wait to see the next episode! It's the best show that has magic, romance, action and everything mixed into it. The show has many supporters and it shoudln't be cancelled. Cannot be cancelled. Save the Seeker!

I was really disapointed when I heard it was being cancelled. Why is it that when a good show comes around, they have to cancel it. However, they will continue to air garbage on tv. I'm sure that if the network put more work into finding a diffrent channel to air it on, they would have found one. I can only say that I wish the cast good luck, and say I'm sad to see them go.

Interesting because I have read several articles today about the show still looking for a home and also the fan ad ran today in Variety, so it may not be over....we can only pray!

I just finished watching the last episode of the season. I have never felt such a FLOOD of conflicting emotions from a TV show in my life! The acting was so believable I felt like I was right there with them all fighting for more than survival. The ending was SO BEAUTIFUL I couldn't hold back my tears! Without giving the ending away to anyone who hasn't seen it yet; I think I cried a"Stone of Tears" myself! We MUST have another season! This show is too precious to let go of! Well done! Very well done!!

I wish I cry over this. Being a fan of Terry Goodkind and loving his books, I felt the books were canceled with S01E01. Perhaps if the producers stayed true to the books, the books\' fans would have stayed true to the show. Then again books are people who think and TV is not.
